From early stage discussions, we knew that DiSC Training would be the right tool to help this organisation. The brief from Castelan was that the organistaion wanted to enable their management team to work much more effectively with the ultimate goal of increased business and productivity. As such we wrote a bespoke training course for them which as well as leadership and management, also included DiSC training.
We started with on-line DiSC profiling and produced individual reports for each delegate as well as a summary overview report for the MD and Head of HR. People are always fascinated with the outcome of profiling and what the report says about them. The DiSC reports provided in-depth analysis of the primary and secondary behaviour style and the implications for and against this in terms of interactions with others. We worked collectively with the teams to demonstrate how changing their behaviour can actually deliver improved results for the organisation. We helped the team understand each other’s profile and how each one of those behaviour styles like to work. These insights then enabled the management team to see how, by altering their behaviour in dealing with one another and their own teams, they could achieve a better outcome. The workshop was interactive and proved to be enjoyable and fun as well as successful. This is the power of DiSC and by making small changes in behaviour, an organistaion can reap huge rewards.
